MEET THE CEO

Harvey Nunes is the owner of Brand Nu Media Group, a Washington DC-based company specializing in Virtual/Online Film and Television Production. He graduated from the Howard University School of Communications, received a Certificate of Broadcast in Television, Film & Radio from NYU’s School of Continuing Education, and began his television career with internships at CBS News and Black Entertainment Television (BET). Mr. Nunes was subsequently hired by BET and became a segment producer for BET sports, focusing primarily on college and high school athletic standouts.

Among his many activities at BET, Mr. Nunes co-produced the popular national shows, MAAD Sports and Sports Pages, performed occasional hosting, and interviewed the likes of Michael Vick, Allen Iverson and Laila Ali among many others. After BET, he founded his own production company where he provides professional Film/ Video Production & DJ services to numerous clients around the country, including HBCUGO.TV, Youtube TV and Covenant Events. Experienced in all facets of Television, Film and Radio, Mr. Nunes recently produced, Directed and appeared in Edge of the Pier, a short film currently touring the festival circuit. Current productions are Listen Up a popular Internet TV show focusing on African-American College Lifestyle, Music & Culture. Recently he interviewed and filmed the likes of Danny Glover, Ledisi and Senator Cory Booker.
